Logitech Z-2300 Speaker Review

We are all aware that there are two kinds of computer speakers, the expensive but clear and the cheap but clanging. Unfortunately, a lot of people can only afford those computer speakers that are very affordable and normally came packaged with computers or laptops. No matter where you go these days, almost all retailers that sell electrical gear will have a couple of sets of cheap computer speakers tucked away on the shelf, just waiting for someone to use to replace their old rubbish speakers with yet another poorly made set Researching and finding a good computer speaker really isn't that difficult when you consider how many quality brands there are out there. So it really comes down to cost and what you want to use them for. In fact, Logitech has decided to help users of these computer speakers to have the best use and best sound at a price that anyone can reach. This is where the Logitech z2300 comes into this The system is of the 2.1 variety, which means that you get a large sub woofer and two satellite speakers. These will give you both bass and some sound staging if you set the satellite speakers apart, but will not give you surround sound. The Logitech Z2300 is also THX Certified which is a bonus It includes a huge sub woofer and 2 medium sized computer speakers. logitech z2300

Now, let’s talk about its satellites. Unlike some of its competitors Logitech has gone for a more classic look, avoiding some of the more adventurous designs out there (think JBL Soundsticks)!. The design is basically a sleek black & silver colour scheme which would blend in well with most interiors Because of the way Logitech has designed the Z-2300, I will go well with any type of computer, old or new. From the basic right up to the latest gaming machine The Sub is designed in the same colour, and compliments the satellites very well It measures 10x10x12 and there’s a desktop control unit that includes a large volume and headphone jack as well as a sub woofer knob. For the price this 2.1 system provides a great musical experience that you would expect to find from speakers that costs 5 times as much The system produces a full sound. Also, the satellites make decent treble and midrange that are well matched with the right sub woofer. This is the biggest problem when you buy a cheap or poorly made set of speakers; you tend to find that the midrange is lacking and the treble very harsh, which leaves you wanting to turn the volume down after a while. You also find that the bass is either overpowering or there just isn't any so to speak of. But the Z-2300 does not include such a terrifying midrange gap . logitech z2300

The logitech Z2300 sounds very precise and clear, leaving you to suspect that whoever designed these speakers really knows what they are doing. If you are listening to dance or rock music you will notice that the vocals are clear, as are the instruments. Which is exactly what you want from your speakers. If you like your bass, these speakers don't disappoint. You get a rich solid bass line that can provide a decent kick if you want it too, but at the same time isn't overpowering like some of the speakers out there. I spoken alot about the musical aspect of these speakers, but these speakers work equally well for gaming and watching movies. Obviously they lack the surround sound capability; but for most having lots of speakers isn't practical. You can expect that these speakers will provide hours of listening enjoyment, and will provide that extra something that your gaming and movies watching needs The sounds of pop and rock music are very clean and contains accurate and emphasized vocals than those cheaper speaker that include rich bass that does not beat. In addition, movies and video games are much enhanced since the sub woofer is precisely tuned and sized to emphasize the audio and not subdue it. logitech z2300

One of the things that surprised me about the Logitech Z-2300 was that you could turn the volume right up and there was no distortion, making these speakers ideal for the occasional party These speakers are rated at 200 watts RMS, which considering how close you tend to sit when using a computer will be more than enough At around $150, you can already get your desktop a matched computer speaker that produces clean and accurate sound.
